All students trying out for athletic teams, or taking part in any athletic contest are required to have adequate insurance coverage.  Insurance coverage is offered by one of the local insurance agencies at a very reasonable cost.  This plan is designed to cover students for injuries received while participating in supervised school activities.  Participation is voluntary; however, each student is encouraged to participate.  The policy covers school-sponsored interscholastic sports and activities.  Tackle football is NOT covered in the policy and additional coverage is necessary.  Claim forms for the insurance may be obtained from the front office.  All claims must be filed within twenty (20) days of the accident or injury.  All injuries and accidents must be reported to the office.
